2008年度 コラボレーション型研究支援資金 感性データベースによるダイナミック装飾メディア・システムの研究開発 研究成果報告

本プロジェクトの背景および目的

本研究は、８年間にわたって開発を行った感性データベースシステムの新しくかつ大規模な応用として、感性データベースシステムをメディア装飾に適用するダイナミック・装飾メディア・システムの実現を行うものである。"状況，文脈に応じて動的に変化するダイナミック・装飾メディア"という概念を提案し、作品の作成者側、作品の鑑賞者側の両サイドがそのダイナミック装飾メディアという新たな創造の場での創発活動を行なうシステムを実現する。このシステムは、（１）感性データベース技術（清木）、（２）鑑賞者の状況、文脈を動的に把握する"ユビキタス・コンピューティング（徳田）"、（３）状況に合致するデザイン装飾を定義する知識体系構築（脇田）の３者による緊密な共同的設計によるSFCならではの共同研究型体制により実現できる。本システムは、主役メディア（例えば、音楽）を装飾する対象として、その周辺の脇役メディア（画像、映像など）による全体の"動的装飾デザイン"を生み出すものである。

2008年度 コラボレーション型研究支援資金 感性データベースによるダイナミック装飾メディア・システムの研究開発

本研究が実現する"ダイナミック装飾メディア・システム"は、新しい時代の遠隔共同研究環境を実現するプラットフォームを目指すものである。この新しい形態のメディア創造についての招待論文を，The 6th Asia Pacific Conference on Conceptual Modeling (APCCM)にて発表した．

さらに，感性データベースシステムに関連する国際会議・ワークショップの開催２件（The 18th European Japanese Conference on Information Modelling and Knowledge Bases, Tsukuba, Japan, June 2-6, 2008，および，The Second International Workshop on World-Wide Knowledge Sharing and Analysis, Tampere University of Technology, Pori, Finland, March17-19th, 2008），招待講演２件を行い，フィンランドのタンペレ工科大学（Tampere University of Technology）およびユバスキュラ大学（University of Jyuvaskyla）との連携を行った． また，具体的な実証実験として，装飾メディア応用システム設計・構築，および， 鑑賞者の文脈、状況把握およびそれに合致する動的装飾メディアの設計・構築を行い，感性データベースによるダイナミック装飾メディア・システムのプロトタイプシステムを実現した．具体的には、以下の4項目を実行した。

  1. 装飾メディア応用システム設計１：自動装飾機能つき音楽鑑賞環境設計、構築：音楽メディアを対象とした感性計量システムを適用し、音楽の感性的特徴に合致する画像メディア、映像メディアを自動選択、表示するシステムの設計、構築
  2. 装飾メディア応用システム設計２：自動装飾機能つき画像（色彩情報）絵画、映像鑑賞環境設計、構築：画像、映像メディアを対象とした感性計量システムを適用し、感性的特徴に合致する周辺メディア（音楽など）を自動選択するシステムの実現
  3. ユビキタスコンピューティング技術により、自動的に、鑑賞者状況および表現DISPLAYの状況を把握、認識し、その状況に合致する音楽、画像、映像の選択、表示機能の設計、構築
  4. ユーザの状況、文脈の獲得、蓄積、感性的計量方法のシステム化および実装
