Objectives

This laboratory will play a key role in the impact assessment being conducted by SFC on the sustainability of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games. An evaluation of this huge global event, played out in the form of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, from the perspective of the impact it will have on the sustainability of Tokyo, other cities in Japan, Japan as a whole, and the world in its entirety, is being conducted. The objective of this laboratory is to create a base that will both trigger discussion and provide information, mainly from SFC and Keio University, so that the Olympic and Paralympic Games will facilitate improved sustainability across Japan, including Tokyo and its other cities.
